HORIZON EUROPE   The European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2021-2027), Horizon Europe, is open to researchers from all over the world. It supports all actors in research, whether public or private: businesses (small, medium, or large), universities, hospitals, research centers, public organizations, cities, and associations.


EIC ACCELERATOR    The EIC ACCELERATOR is part of Horizon 2020, is reserved for SMEs and startups presenting disruptive innovation with a strong potential for international growth. This is characterized by capital-intensive development and high level of risk. The ambition of these SMEs must be to radically transform the market.


LIFE   The LIFE programme is the financial instrument of the European Commission that supports projects in the fields of environment and climate. It is aimed at both public and private project holders, and aims to promote and fund innovative projects. The projects may focus on, for example, the conservation of species and habitats, soil protection, improving air or water quality, waste management, or mitigating or adapting to climate change and the transition.
CREATIVE EUROPE   The Creative Europe programme supports the European cultural and creative sectors for the period 2021*2027. The programme builds on the structure of the previous one and is divided into three strands: culture-media-cross several strand.  ERASMUS+   Erasmus + is the EU programme to support education, training, youth, and sport in Europe.

B – EIC ACCELERATOR

EIC Pathfinder for multi-disciplinary research teams to undertake visionary research with the potential to lead to technology breakthroughs.

EIC Transition to turn research results into innovation opportunities, following up on results generated by EIC Pathfinder projects, European Research Council Proof of Concept projects and open to project results from Horizon collaborative projects from Pillar 2/ societal challenges.

The EIC Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) Scale Up , which will provide additional equity funding to promising companies areas to help them secure larger private co-investment for further scaling their businesses.

C- The LIFE programme is the financial instrument of the European Commission to support projects in the fields of environment and climate. It is divided into 4 sub-programmes:

i) Nature and Biodiversity,

ii) Circular Economy and Quality of Life,

iii) Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation,

iv) Transition to Clean Energy.-Europe Creative

D- The Creative Europe programme is divided in 3 strands.

The Culture strand of the Creative Europe programme supports a wide range of cultural and creative sectors including among others

    architecture

    literature and publishing

    performing arts

The MEDIA strand of the Creative Europe programme supports the European film and audiovisual industries to develop, distribute and promote European works, taking into account today’s digital environment.

In addition it

    encourages cooperation across the value chain of the audiovisual industry and at EU level in order to scale up enterprises and European content globally

    nurtures talents – wherever they come from – and facilitates knowledge-sharing

    supports innovative solutions to meet the market demands and trends

    engages with audiences of all ages, especially the younger generations

The purpose of the Cross-sectoral strand is to reinforce collaboration between different cultural and creative sectors (CCS) in order to help them address the common challenges they face and find innovative solutions. These are its main priorities:

    to support cross sectoral transnational policy cooperation, promoting the visibility of the programme and support the transferability of results

    to encourage innovative approaches to content creation, access, distribution, and promotion across CCS and with other sectors

    to support adjustments to the structural and technological changes faced by the news media

    to support the establishment and activities of the Creative Europe Desks

Who is it for?

The “Erasmus+” funding programme is the EU programme in support of education, training, youth, and sport. It offers millions of participants the opportunity to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad.

The 2021-2027 programme places strong emphasis on social inclusion, ecological and digital transitions, and the promotion of youth participation in democratic life.

In addition to granting subsidies, Erasmus+ promotes teaching, research, network development, and debate on European issues. The sports chapter of the programme encourages grassroots activities in this field.
